How long do your products last?

You can be assured that all of our products are fresh. We are a bespoke skin care company that invests heavily in active, high quality ingredients. For this reason we do our orders in regular, small batches to ensure that our active ingredients can be exactly that, ACTIVE. They get dispatched as soon as we received them so that you can be sure your skincare is fresh and of a high quality. Once opened, products that have active ingredients need to be used within 6 months otherwise their benefits are reduced. All other products should be used within 12 months of purchase.

Are your products non-comedogenic (non pore-clogging)?

Non comedogenic is a term used to describe products that are designed to be used by people who suffer from acne or who have congested skin. The problem with this term is that there is no industry standard or regulator that tests products against a standard. Whilst the beauty and cosmetics industry uses this term widely to mean safe for people with acne, oily skin and congestion, it does not guarantee the product. We have extensive experience with formulating skin friendly products and our ZENii Doctors work closely with our formulators to create products that are suitable for oily skin types. We will always list products on the product description guide that are suitable for people with problem/oily skin to use.

Can products be used on children?

Children’s skin is thinner, under keratinised and has a thinner epidermis than adults. This means that they are more likely to absorb products/ingredients through their skin. If you have specific skincare concerns about your children we would suggest that you discuss this with your skincare provider. We are currently formulating a special children’s range.

Does a moisturising SPF give the same protection as a sunscreen?

Yes it does. Many moisturisers are now specially designed to also hydrate the skin and to nourish with antioxidants. Remember however that any sun protection product needs to be applied liberally in order for you to get the full protection or cover. Sun protection needs to be reapplied regularly throughout the day too.
